About Hapus Yogi

Hapus Yogi offers a structured, compassionate approach to understanding wellbeing. Combining yoga, reflective practice and evidence-informed tools to support clarity, balance and sustainable change.

Understanding the holistic approach

Hapus Yogi exists to support people in exploring their wellbeing with curiosity, compassion and practical care. Rather than rushing to solutions, the focus is first on identifying what is happening in the body and mind, simplifying complex experiences, and gently restoring balance using grounded, evidence-informed practices.

Meet Cal

Hi, I’m Cal, a wellbeing practitioner based in (not so) sunny South Wales, UK. My journey into movement began in 2014 as a performer and dance teacher, leading me to teach and perform across the UK and Europe.

While working as a dancer in Cyprus, I began teaching yoga to tourists and local communities, a practice I had loved since childhood. That experience sparked a deeper interest in how movement supports both physical and emotional wellbeing, leading me to travel to Asia to complete my yoga teacher training.

Since then, my work has evolved into a more structured, evidence-informed approach that blends movement, assessment tools and reflective guidance. The intention is always to meet people where they are and support them in moving towards greater balance, resilience and ease.

Cal’s values and approach

Compassion over pressure

Progress is guided with patience and care, avoiding intensity or force and instead meeting people where they are.

Structure reduced overwhelm

A clear framework helps simplify complex experiences, making wellbeing feel manageable rather than confusing.

Evidence-informed practice

Tools and approaches are chosen thoughtfully, drawing on established knowledge to support safe and sustainable change.

Collaboration over instruction

Support is shaped together, encouraging autonomy and empowering individuals to understand their own needs.

Sustainable change over quick fixes

The focus is on long-term balance and resilience rather than temporary solutions.

Clarity before action

Understanding what is happening in the body and mind comes before attempting to change it, creating a more grounded and effective starting point.
